Remarques

Under the true definition, a Remarque it is a pencil, or ink sketch drawn individually by the artist, signed and placed in the margin of the piece of art.

We use Remarque here to describe the additional work an artist would do to enhance a Giclée Print.

The Giclée print is first printed on watercolor paper or canvas, then the artist will take the print and add or enhance the colors of the Giclée print. This adds just a little touch of originally to the artwork. It also adds to the value of the print since each print is now an orginal Giclée Remarque. The business world would call this value added.

Now an art buyer can request special enhancements without having to wait or pay for an original painting. It is a win win for both the artist and their client.
